While most of the parents that we work with attend church, they do not always get the guidance that they need in order to grow in their faith. Our goal is to provide mentoring and workshops for parents, so they might have new opportunities to strengthen their relationship with Jesus and make positive changes in their families in the process.
We work with parent’s committees at each school, as well as the parents of the high school and university scholarship students. Every month, we plan workshops and meetings with parents that use Scripture to offer guidance for family and personal issues. Our staff plans workshops at each school that center around a biblical teaching and include open discussion and reflection about how to emulate Jesus’ love and compassion in our daily lives.
Workshop topics address critical issues that are relevant for parenting and building families with a solid foundation of faith and worship. Our hope is to guide parents in their exploration of their personal relationships with Jesus, in an open and inclusive setting.
